WHAT WE OFFER

Our activities

Most members join the Club to participate in our Behaviour Training classes. Our goal is to help you develop a bond with your dog based on mutual trust, to help you understand how your dog learns, and to give you the knowledge and skills to teach your dog family-friendly practical skills so that it becomes a well-behaved companion at home and in the community. We also incorporate skills to help you transition into the dog sports offered by the Club.

The Club’s dog sports – Agility, Flyball, Dances With Dogs, Obedience Trialling, Rally, Scent Work, Tracking and Trick Dog – provide a great opportunity for you to strengthen your bond with your dog, learn new skills appropriate to your interests and the capability and age of your dog, and extend your involvement with the Club.

The Club also runs a Dogs-as-Therapy program where members and their well-mannered dogs visit aged care facilities on a regular basis to enrich the lives of residents.
